Our Third look (and Sail) aboard the new Beneteau First Yacht 53 unveiled several features that we didn’t notice during the first two looks.
Feature #1 Clean Foredeck
It sounds trivial but a clean foredeck is a work of smart engineering. From the bow: elegant bowsprit with a hidden anchor, recessed electric roller furling headstay, hidden anchor windlass, covered propane locker, fresh & salt water deck washdown. Outboard to port we see the low-profile powder coated bow pulpit base and folding bow cleat.
Feature #2 Fresh Water Control Center
Located under the cabin sole & accessed with a gas jack assist, the freshwater systems are all together. From top to bottom: Watermaker (salt to fresh), freshwater pump, water heater & manifold to distribute water from three tanks.
Feature #3 Hidden Shorepower Connection
Another simple solution that adds to the finished look of the First Yacht 53.
