Beneteau Oceanis 35
The Beneteau Oceanis 35 is in the sweet spot of the racer/cruiser sailboat market because she is so versatile and easy to sail.

Most people use their sailboats for day sailing on weekends and maybe for someWednesday-night racing around the buoys. We think for that kind of activity a 35’ (10.7 m) sailboat is an ideal size. She’s easy to handle, not much work to set and douse sails, and clean-up at day’s end is quick. However, if a couple gets the urge to cruise to Maine or the Bahamas either alone or with another couple, she has the seaworthiness and the room below to easily handle that mission, too. If children are part of the crew, they can help with lines and are secure in the cockpit. We think that for many couples the Oceanis 35 is not too big and not too small, but should be just right.
