Officially, the Atlantic hurricane season is from June 1 to November 30.
One tip that I highly recommend from first-hand experience from Hurricane Katrina is to empty out your refrigerator & freezer both at home and on your boat. You never know how long you will be without power or how long it will take you to get back home or to your boat after you have evacuated.
We will be adding tips so please come back to visit this page.
