The Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum in Biloxi

The Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum in Biloxi is getting a sailboat that was left to Tulane University – along with nearly $390,000 – in exchange for a promise to preserve it for at least 99 years. The Nydia, built about 1898 at the Johnson Shipyard, “represents the ultimate in boat-building skills, a pure example of Biloxi boat building,” said Robin Krohn David, executive director of the Maritime & Seafood Industry Museum in Biloxi. — Read on:
