In January 2020, at Boot Düsseldorf, the smallest model in the Excess range will be making her world premiere. Her US Debut will be at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2020 with the EXCESS 12 and the EXCESS 15 which is also making her US Debut. Make no mistake about it, with her hull length of 36 feet, this catamaran already has everything you’d find on a bigger boat: comfort, space and sailing sensations. Like her big sisters, she is as well suited for coastal cruising as for long ocean passages. The EXCESS 11 is the only large production catamaran available in this size.
The designers and naval architects have created a catamaran where life onboard is pleasant: a 6’6″ wide by 6’6″ berth in the owner’s cabin, high comfort heads with separate showers, a dynamic interior enhanced by indirect lighting effects, the helmsman positioned aft in constant contact with the cockpit and its occupants and a clear view to observe the starry nights thanks to the opening roof. Sailing is also exhilarating: real sailing sensations – that can be further boosted with the Pulse line rig – and amazing twin helm stations and fiber running rigging in Dyneema! This is the synthesis of the Excess spirit: a beautiful boat, simple, light and yet very comfortable!
