A new Yacht Brokers Association of America service is designed to connect brokers with technical expertise and support from participating boatbuilders and OEMs through the new YBAA website.
The program is set to launch in August, according to the YBAA.
The goal of the MFR/OEM Partners program is to develop a closer working relationship with technical experts at key manufacturers, allowing yacht sales professionals to be better informed about manufacturers’ products and services and better able to advise clients about technical and manufacturing issues.
YBAA members will access participating manufacturers via the MFR/OEM Partners link on the new YBAA “Members” website.
A new YBAA “Boaters” website will also list the MFR/OEM Partners, with links to their sites.
In preparation for the launch of the program and websites, YBAA extended invitations to select manufacturers to join the MFR/OEM Partners initiative. The following companies signed on:
-Beneteau America Power
-Beneteau America
-Edson
-Forespar
-Grand Banks
